Lead UI/UX Designer

We’re looking for a talented Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team, drive design excellence, and mentor our design team to create engaging and intuitive digital experiences.

As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you will lead the design vision and execution of user-centered experiences across products and projects. You will mentor designers, collaborate closely with product managers and developers, and ensure design consistency, usability, and quality. Your strategic thinking and hands-on expertise will help deliver impactful solutions that align user needs with business goals.

• Lead Design Projects: Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and timelines.
• Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of designers, providing feedback, conducting design reviews, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• User Research & Testing: Conduct and analyze user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
• UI/UX Design: Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency with Mediusware’s design guidelines.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align on project goals, present design solutions, and iterate based on feedback.
• Design Systems Management: Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure a cohesive and scalable design approach across projects.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design standards.

• Experience: 4+ years in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UX/UI design and examples of successful design projects.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS for design handoff and a good understanding of development processes.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of designers to deliver their best work.
• Analytical and Strategic Mindset: Ability to make data-driven design decisions and contribute to product strategy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
