Senior WordPress Developer

Mediusware Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to play a key role in the development and enhancement of our WordPress-based projects. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership capabilities to drive the delivery of robust and scalable solutions.

1. WordPress Development:

   1. Lead the development of custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features.
   2. Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across devices.
   3. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and optimal performance.

2. Technical Leadership:

   1. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
   2. Stay abreast of the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices, and disseminate this knowledge to the development team.
   3. Drive the adoption of best practices in coding standards, security, and optimization.

3. Project Management:

   1. Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
   2. Estimate development efforts accurately and contribute to project planning.
   3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project success.

4. Optimization and Performance:

   1. Implement best practices for website optimization, performance, and scalability.
   2. Identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring that WordPress projects adhere to industry-standard security practices.

5. Client Interaction:

   1. Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
   2. Provide clear and regular communication to clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Experience:
• • 4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
